Shakila Ferdous
Senior Consultant
Hi, I’m Shakila.
I’m a Senior Consultant at Spencer Clarke Group, specialising in both mainstream and SEND tuition recruitment across Manchester.
Before moving into recruitment, I worked as a fully qualified Teacher within SEN schools. Directly supporting young people in schools gave me a strong understanding of the challenges many students face which is what inspired me to move into tuition recruitment.
For the past 4 years, I've worked closely with local authorities and schools to help provide young people with the tuition support they need.
I love being able to find Tutors who genuinely care about making a difference. It’s important to me that the Tutors I work with not only have the right experience, but also the understanding and mindset to support every young person’s individual needs.
At Spencer Clarke Group, I'm focused on continuing to build the division by recruiting experienced Tutors and building strong relationships with local authorities and schools that need support for their students.
One day, I hope to build my own successful team and become a recognised name within the sector.
Outside of work, I love trying new activities with my husband and spending time with my cat, Faris!
