SEND Teacher

Pay: £170 - £250 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Long-term temporary to permanent
Start: ASAP / Next Term

We are looking for an experienced SEND Teacher to join a specialist or inclusive school in Preston. We are happy to consider teachers from mainstream settings who are interested in moving into SEND.

Responsibilities:

• Planning and delivering differentiated lessons for SEND pupils

• Managing classroom behaviour and individual learning plans

• Adapting teaching approaches to meet a range of needs including ASD, SEMH, ADHD, and learning difficulties

• Collaborating with support staff, parents, and external professionals

• Monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback

Requirements:

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification

• Experience working with SEND pupils is preferred but mainstream teachers willing to upskill are welcome

• Strong behaviour management and adaptability

• Passion for inclusive education and long-term commitment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
