An exciting opportunity for a committed SEND Teacher to work in Chorley, supporting pupils with a range of additional educational needs. Mainstream teachers interested in SEND are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivering engaging and inclusive SEND-focused lessons

  • Assessing progress and adapting teaching strategies for individual needs

  • Creating a safe and supportive learning environment

  • Supporting pupils with communication, behaviour, and emotional needs

  • Working closely with teaching assistants and external agencies

Requirements:

  • QTS or equivalent

  • Proven SEND teaching experience desirable, but candidates from mainstream settings are welcome

  • Strong classroom management and differentiation skills

  • Commitment to inclusive education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
