We are seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs in a welcoming school setting in Skelmersdale.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting pupils with SEND on a 1:1 and small-group basis

  • Assisting with behaviour management and emotional regulation

  • Supporting learning activities under teacher guidance

  • Helping create a safe, inclusive classroom environment

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young people (education, care, youth work, or similar)

  • A patient, resilient, and nurturing approach

  • No formal qualifications required - training provided

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
